Ned Read is a graduate of the Studio Theatre Acting Conservatory, and has also trained at the Theatre Lab School of the Dramatic Arts and Shakespeare Theatre Company, among others. Ned has done stage work with Shakespeare Theatre, Studio Theatre, Arcturus Theater, 4615 Theatre, Little Theatre of Alexandria, Greenbelt Arts Center, Out-Side the Box Theatre, as well as the Source Festival and the Capital Fringe Festival. Film and TV credits include Lunatic Fringe, a web series pilot produced by Women in Film & Television; Spiral, a short film produced by Mirandum Pictures; industrial videos; American Titans; Nightmare Next Door; and a few fleeting appearances in House of Cards. Ned’s day job is Senior Advisor to the Deputy Chairman for Management & Budget at the National Endowment for the Arts.
