
Steve Lebens has been working as an actor in Washington theaters and been an Actors' Center member since 1993. Area theaters where he has worked include The American Century Theater, The Folger, Studio Theatre, Signature Theatre, Source Theatre, No Rules Theatre, The American Ensemble Theater, Lean and Hungry Theater, Ganymede Arts, and Compass Rose. He also works in film and television and is known for his roles on House of Cards, VEEP, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and in the feature films Field of Lost Shoes, Browncoats Redemption and King Lear. Steve began his professional career at the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis after graduating with a B.A. from Hamline University in St. Paul. Steve was a Foreign Service Officer with the Department of State where he served in a number of overseas positions, including the cultural attache at our embassies in Colombia and Pakistan.
