
Emily Morrison has lived in Washington since 2009 and has worked with Brave Spirits Theater Company, The American Century Theater, Scena Theatre and others. In 2011 she debuted the confessional one-woman show But Love Is My Middle Name at the Capital Fringe Festival. Favorite DC roles include Marjorie, Little Murders(American Century Theater) Chorus in War of the Worlds (Scena); and the Wife in The Pundit (Capital Fringe) Prior to living in DC, she worked and trained in Los Angeles, where roles included Queen Elizabeth in Richard III at Colony Theatre; Frankie in Frankie & Johnny in the Claire de Lune at the Elephant; Ginger in Rosemary & Ginger at ACT and Deanna in Lie With Me, a co-production of LA's Mutineer and Arlington's Charter Theatre Company. Emily has worked extensively in television and film, including the short The Nextnik (nextnik.com) and roles on Investigation Discovery's Evil Twins and Who The Bleep Did I Marry? She is a guide for Washington Walks, leading Haunted House tours, and handles marketing, pr and graphic design for theatres and civic organizations in the city, among them Constellation, dog & pony dc, The American Century Theatre and City Artistic Partnerships. She's been a member of Actors' Center since 2009, a Board member since 2011 and became Board President in February of 2013.
